Business Concept

Aero.V.Australia’s business strategy is based on a three-pronged approach.

1 Production:

Aero. V. Australia is the holder of the Type Acceptance Certificate for the Sadler Vampire issued by the Australian Civil Aviation Authority, is responsible for the ongoing airworthiness program and has established a production line to manufacture the single seat Sadler Vampire SV-2 aircraft for Australian and Overseas markets. The Aircraft has previously been manufactured and has established a ‘cult’ following worldwide. The aircraft has its own owner‘s website. Production improvements will be introduced and upgrade kits offered to existing operators of the aircraft. The aircraft is also undergoing a re-engine programme that will offer additional performance and reliability. This new engine will be offered as a production alternative and retrofit.

Once production of the single seat aircraft has been established the Company will develop the prototype of its two-seat training and touring aircraft. A considerable number of production drawings have already been completed and a concept prototype has already been built. The two-seat training and touring market is considerably greater than the single seat market with many thousands of aircraft produced each year.

It is planned that the single seat Sadler Vampire will eventually be made available in Kit form.

The company also operates a maintenance and modification facility in support of the Vampire and other recreational aircraft, as well as being distributor for HKS Engines and Bolly propellors.

2 Training:

Workshops and seminars are conducted for amateur builders of aircraft in such subjects as basic sheet metal, wood fabrication, fabric covering, welding, fibreglass techniques and finishing. These are short-term courses comprising 10 to 12 attendees.

One day Pilot Maintenance courses are regularly conducted for owners and pilots who wish to carry out basic maintenance on their aircraft. Each course usually comprises 10 to 12 attendees and their aircraft.

Home study manuals are offered to aircraft tradespeople in order to pass their Licenced Aircraft Maintenance Engineers (LAME) exams.

The facility is also the centre for microlight and ultralight pilot training.

3 Spare Parts & Equipment:

Aero. V. is able to offer amateur builders and recreational aircraft owners spare parts and equipment, through its established supply chain, at very competitive prices.
